We listen to what our customers want, and when it comes to rates they crave stability. While they have to fix prices for 12 months in advance and operate in a competitive environment where any price increase has to be carefully negotiated well in advance, it is seen not only as damaging to their profitability but also as unprofessional and non-commercial that international container shipping lines think it is acceptable that their rates for ocean freight can be increased seemingly at a whim and currently; so dramatically and so frequently.
