Chris Geller
Operations Director
Oversees all operations to ensure every customer always receives the best personal service i.e. he chats on the phone all day keeping everyone happy
A Fellow of Petrol Heads College and owner of a classic Buell motorbike, Chris started his career in logistics as a motorcycle courier. Following some apparently arduous year's racing around the streets of London risking life and limb dodging through the traffic delivering urgent documents & packages he went on to develop his outstanding knowledge and experience in all aspects of Ocean freight; working for over 25 years with some of the UK's leading NVOCC Companies. During his career Chris has travelled extensively in Europe the USA, India, China and Australia and recently visited Japan.
Chris met the 'Other Chris' whilst Branch Manager of the Manchester office of a privately owned Freight Forwarder and when that company was sold to an investment group they left to form Freedom.
In his spare time Chris loves pottering about in his garden, setting fire to things and planning his next adventurous overseas road trip.

Manages the Marketing and Finance roles within Freedom, so he is either writing in the latest newsletter or counting the beans
Chris has gained broad commercial experience over the last 35 years, starting his career in Freight Forwarding almost straight from school. After several formative years at the front line of Channel Port traffic he switched over to become Shipping Manager at a manufacturing company dealing with Freight Forwarding from the customer's side, for imports from multiple suppliers in the Far East and exports to brand distributors and agents worldwide.
Head hunted to set up the third party logistics for a European Distribution Centre of a large U.S. Corporation his career progressed and he was latterly head of a logistics operations based at Heathrow managing several high profile 3PL accounts providing storage, pick/pack and European distribution services.
Married with four grown up children and a teenage stepson, Chris enjoys a visit to his local Pub for a quiet pint, cooking (i.e. messing up the kitchen), and listening to some classic 70's rock. A lifelong Who fan he loves nothing more than turning up the volume and thrashing his air guitar.
